Welcome to Feminine Sacred, the mystical realm of feminine mysteries and sacred secrets. You have entered a place to worship, refresh your spirit and celebrate the mysteries and blessings that flow from the Goddess.  Within this website you will find many links to Online Temples, each one built in celebration of a specific aspect of Goddess consciousness.

The DaVinci Code and other popular books and films are beginning to explore the sacred wisdom of the ancient Goddess.  Curiosity about these ancient beliefs is growing and awareness of the Great Goddess is being felt in many areas of western culture.  Countries like India have never stopped honoring Goddesses along with their Gods.  Here in the west, we have all but forgotten the beauty, compassion, wisdom and strength that is the essence of many Goddess religions and feminine sacred beliefs.

After the dawn, the day, and dusk, comes the night, a time when the ancients observed the sacred cycles of the Moon, the planets and the heavens.

She who is dark as night and radiant as the sun
She dwells within each of us, calling out for recognition
Her wisdom is the legacy at the core of every cell in our bodies
She is the endurance of IsIs,loyalty of Mary Magdalene,
the ever enduring, ever giving powers of Gaia
She is the skill of Brigid, wisdom and life force of Oshun,
the vision, courage and strength of Diana
She is the compassion of Kuan Yin, the relentless justice of Kali,
the eternal and renewing beauty of Venus
She is sacred memory passed down through many millennia of
Crones, Grandmothers and Wise Women, thatlives in our DNA
She is the Feminine Sacred, the divine feminine principle of Life.

Since the beginning of human time, Temples, Wells, Sacred Caves and Groves have been consecrated to the Goddess in every land on Earth.  These places of peace and worship have been passed down for many thousands of years as an essential part of the sacred heritage of common people.  Our online "Virtual Temples" will provide a place of peace and comfort.  May they serve as a source of inspiration for your visioning, planning and building a brick and mortar Temple in your own community and sacred spaces in your own home.

  Goddess

Well before language, offerings were no doubt made to the divine mother by our ancestors.  The richness of living and the struggles for survival made humans a species of both hope and fear. In both states we called upon divinity to sustain us.  The most ancient of these deities was a Mother Goddess, an abundant female, proof of  sustenance and blessings.

Sacred is, as sacred does.  All life comes from the body of a female, and so our ancestors understood the prime creator also must be female, for all ife issues forth from a She.  The Feminine Sacred was our first, and most sustaining deity of all.  Her sacred presence has again returned to the human consciousness after many generations of forced banishment by those who worship a Jealous God.  Since all issues forth from the Great Mother, She is tolerant of all Her children, and speaks in the actions of those who honor Her.
