The Goddess 2000 Project was created by myself, Abby Willowroot as a way of inspiring the Goddess Community to express themselves and their devotion to the Goddess through Art. Many on the participants were making Art for the first time since they were kids. The act of making Art empowers and expresses something very valuable in each artist. The other focus of the Goddess 2000 Project was to remove the creation of Goddess imagery from a marketplace environment and return it to the average person who honors the Goddess and nature.   This has resulted in more deeply felt expressions and depictions of Goddess energy, as was hoped.   Today, ten years after the Goddess 2000 Project, many new Goddess images are still being created by participants in the G2000 Project and those they have inspired.
