finished production on the Sunday afternoon. It also provides an opportunity to explore
the magical power of drama for self-transformation and affirmation.

The Ft. Collins and Boulder Goddess 2000 groups are coordinating a meeting on January 15
at 1pm to discuss how we are continuing on with the project into the new millenium. There
wil be opportunities to create crafts/art together, as well as meet new people who are
working towards this wonderful goal together. The location is Athens North off 19th and
Arapahoe in Boulder. There will be flyers available and any interested people with

all inspired by the god/dess and nature spirit.
THis is what the whole project is about; through
dedicating these, we are re-birthing a god/dess
culture for the next millenium (at least!).
* DONATIONS: However simply we try to do things, there are always costs. Any donations can
be made payable to "Goddess 2000 Project Ireland"; any cash donations will
receive receipts.
* FOOD AND DRINK: For the night of the 22nd. It is ALWAYS necessary to share these basics
at an events like this - any culinary artists out there?
* IDEAS: If there's something you would like to see happen, let us know immediately! If
there is something you want to see in the ritual, let us know!!

We are holding a Goddess and Greenman Creativity Day, on Saturday
27th November in Swansea. The days events include a pathworking to seek
inspiration, creation of Goddess 'postcard' art, Greenman collage making, and

A year after her arrest along with her 32 fellow celebrants, Donna Henes, New York’s
Urban Shaman, will return in triumph to South Beach on Staten Island for her 25th annual
Winter Solstice Celebration. With the assistance of Norman Seigel of the New York Civil
Liberties Union, she has succeeded in obtaining a permit to assemble — as well as
official permission to light the traditional solstice fire. This Winter Solstice several
special factors will combine to create an especially Celestially Auspicious Occasion.
There will be a full moon which happens at solstice only once every 19 years. Greater,
more extraordinary still, the moon will be at perigee, it’s closest distance to
Earth. The last time all three events occurred together was in 1885. The closeness of the
moon will cause it to appear to be perceptibly larger than usual. Because the solar
perihelion is only 12 days away, bringing us several million miles closer to the sun, the
amount of solar light striking the moon is also measurably stronger. If the night is
clear, it will be very, very bright, especially if viewed reflected on snow or sand. And
the tides will be proxigean (that is, astonishingly high) due to the dual influences of
the full phase of the moon and it’s propinquity. An extremely dramatic display! Donna

Join MoonBeats Circle for a Winter Solstice celebration on Friday, December 17th in
the Social Center (3rd floor) of the Irish American Heritage Center at 4626 N. Knox in
Chicago. We would like to welcome all of Pagan Chicago to share Ritual, drumming,
Feasting, and fellowship together, and we hope that you will join us! We will be beginning
our evening at 7pm, and we have the room until midnight.
We will present a participatory Ritual Theatre celebrating the Return of the Sun,
including a performance with our Pagan Choir and a Winter Solstice Spiral Dance. We will
welcome an installation of the Goddess 2000 art show, invite everyone to participate in a
magical gift exchange (bring a small wrapped gift with your name tucked inside), sponsor a
food drive to benefit a local food pantry, and share in a drumming and dancing Circle. We
are asking a donation of $5 per person (to help us cover the cost of renting this space),
plus a non-perishable food item for the food drive. Dress in your holiday glittering best
to welcome the Invincible Son/Sun! Bring your drums and percussion instruments for the
drumming Circle following Ritual...bring your favorite yummy holiday dish (food only) to
share with the community for the potluck Feast...there will be a low-cost cash bar for
soda and alcohol. Parents! We will provide childcare during the Ritual for children 1 year
old and older.

10am-2pm please grab your beach gear, bucket and shovel and a snack to share and meet us
at the 300 Block of Paseo de La Playa (near Esplanade St.)in South Redondo Beach, parking
is avail in a public Torrance Beach lot, and there are meters and some street parking.
Miramar park is at the intersection of Paseo de la Playa and the Esplanade in case you get
lost, the Torrance Beach is right behind that! We'll have signs and kites aloft. If it

"The three part trilogy is an attempt to sonically represent the Mayan cosmology
concept of the "Hanab Ku". The Mayans theorized that this 'cosmic wave' energy
called the Hanab Ku would occasionally shift......they wrote that when that happens, our
consciousness and dimensional reality will shift along with it. There is no doubt that

"Restoring the Balance" - a ritual theater event to complete the last millennium
and offer a vision of hope for a new future...inviting participants to an inner journey of
their own places of fear and lost innocence through song, dance and poetry. A chance to

which will include the Dances of Universal Peace, a Rainbow Children's Dance, the Spiral
Dance, and an opportunity to give a blessing to our community at this time of full moon
