It is easy to become hardened in our hearts. The pace of the world forces many to put up walls of indifference. Our inner nature cries out to connect with those around us in a meaningful way. Kindness expressed daily in a 1000 small ways is the key that liberates us from personal isolation. The simple kindnesses you express to others benefit you abundantly. They lighten your spirit and bless your path.  Kindness offered without question or motive enriches the giver. 

 

Pausing a moment to let a car enter into your lane, holding a door open for someone, sincerely thanking a person who waits on you, are all small, but important ways of expressing kindness.  Everyday there are an unlimited number of opportunities to act with kindness to strangers as well as those close to us.  With each act of kindness your heart opens a bit more and your sense of isolation diminishes.  Developing the habit of being kind changes a person and draws to them many unimagined gifts and blessings.

We all are capable of changing the world through our beliefs and our actions. This is not any great revelation, but we sometimes forget how much power we really have. The way we live our daily lives has an enormouse impact on those around us. Remebering to act with kindness and move past our own inscurities is a challenge for us all.

It is easy to get caught up and forget that we are a living, breathing, manifestatrion of the sacred universe.  Remembering who we are makes us strong, kind and unstoppable.
